The problem on your floor

Every gym has the same three gaps. None of them are training knowledge.

A trainer who can’t fill a schedule isn’t a training problem. It’s a sales and marketing skills gap nobody taught them to close — and it shows up in your revenue, your turnover and your member experience.

01

New trainers ramp slowly

Onboarding covers your systems and the certification covers the science. Nobody teaches them how to run a consultation, handle an objection or follow up — so month one is mostly waiting.

02

Good trainers plateau

The trainers who stay still stop growing. Without a real marketing and sales skillset, their book stops compounding — and neither does your PT revenue.

03

Clients churn quietly

Clients rarely leave because the training was bad. They leave because the value was never made visible. Most trainers have no retention practice at all.

What your team learns

10 chapters. Three jobs: find them, sign them, keep them.

75 short video lessons and 18 worksheets. Every chapter is built around something a trainer can use on the floor the same week.

01

Understand Why People Buy

Find them. The customer journey, what motivates buying, and the barriers that stall it.

02

Market What Customers Actually Want

Find them. Sell the outcome, not the session.

03

Build a Brand People Value

Find them. Value vs. price and the Elements of Value.

04

Find the Right Clients

Find them. Segmentation, targeting and the ideal-client avatar.

05

Give People a Reason to Choose You

Find them. Positioning, value proposition and tagline.

06

Get in Front of More Potential Clients

Sign them. Demo tables, floor work, referrals and staff networking.

07

Write Marketing That Gets Action

Sign them. Copy that converts: PAS, AIDA, the 4 U’s and testimonials.

08

Build Trust Before You Sell

Sign them. Confirmation calls, first impressions and rapport.

09

Turn More Prospects Into Clients

Sign them. SUPPOSE discovery, the free consultation, objections and the PROM pitch.

10

Keep Great Clients Longer

Keep them. Retention built on the Elements of Value.

Operator questions

What training directors ask first

How is this different from certification or our onboarding?

Certifications teach the science of training, and your onboarding teaches your systems. The Academy covers the business of being a trainer — how to find, sign and keep clients — so it complements both instead of overlapping.

Can our trainers fit it in?

Yes. Lessons are short and self-paced, so trainers can work through them between sessions, before a shift or on a break.

Is it for new hires or experienced trainers?

Both. New hires get the business skills they didn’t learn in certification. Experienced trainers use it to break a plateau and grow their book.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on the size of your organization — a single club and a national brand need different things. Email Rick and he’ll put together a quote for your team.

Can we see it before we commit?

Yes. Email Rick to ask for a preview.

Need something custom?

Marketing, video and custom training for your business.

Beyond the Academy, Rick works directly with fitness businesses on marketing strategy, video production and custom internal training programs built for your team and your brand.
